Many current Carysbrook families as well as Alumnae have inquired about opportunities to donate to help either with capital improvements at camp or camper scholarships. The Camp Carysbrook Alumnae Association is evolving to build a bridge between past and present campers and staff and has been integral in establishing ways to give back to Carysbrook in the form of two separate funds.
Donate to the Capital Improvements Fund
Click on the Donate to Capital Improvement button for donations for capital improvements like repairing the historic Woodpecker cabin as well as purchasing new equipment and making repairs to other facilities on the grounds. Camp Carysbrook was incorporated as a "for profit organization" in order to be able to raise money and spend it on such capital improvements. The IRS will not allow tax-deductible donations to a for profit organization. If you are interested in contributing to the maintenance and betterment of Carysbrook for girls to enjoy in years to come, please give here.
Donate to the Scholarship Fund (tax-deductible)
We have registered with the American Camping Association to establish a means of raising tax-deductible funds for camper scholarships to Carysbrook. The purpose of the scholarship fund at Carysbrook is to promote diversity at camp by allowing for campers from "varying social, economic, racial, national and cultural backgrounds". We have established the Camp Carysbrook Alumnae Association as well as a Scholarship Committee responsible for selecting recipients as well as defining the criteria for selection.
