Camp Carysbrook,a traditional resident camp and Virginia's oldest camp for girls, seeks to hire as Cabin and Activity Counselors, young women 18 and older who have a personal commitment to providing an enriching and caring environment for children to grow, learn and enjoy each other. Our 200 acre camp in Riner, VA located about 40 miles southwest of Roanoke, Virginia in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, provides a setting which promotes the exploration and development of each camper's abilities and potentials and assists them in discovering the richness of life.
What Makes Being a Camp Counselor So Special?
The opportunity to make a positive and significant difference in a child's life, make friends for a lifetime, challenge yourself, learn new skills and live and work in a small community. Counselors live in a cabin with 4-6 campers and are responsible for teaching an activity area.
